HOMETOWN: Fraser, CO
ABOUT: I was introduced to mountain bikes as a summer substitute for skiing. With a lot of similarities in terms of seeing a line, aggressive handling, and being able to pick yourself (and gear) up after a crash, I fell in love with the sport. I started racing collegiately as a freshman and decided to continue after my graduation, with more time to dedicate to training and performance.
My bikes always have a name. My Scott Spark 930 has just been christened Montgomery, so it can “beam” me to uncharted territories and new adventures.
MOST MEMORABLE NON RACE BIKE MOMENT: Skiing the Big Couloir in Big Sky, MT
FAV TO-DOs SANS BIKE: Ski big lines and cook big dinners.
RANDOM RAMBLINGS: We inherit our energy powerhouses from our mothers, in the form of mitochondria. So I look up to my mom, as she inspires me to go further, ride harder, and live life fully.
